Treatments
All treatments are always planned individually according to your needs.
Osteopathy
Osteopathy is a healthcare profession that treats the body as a whole. The approach recognises that symptoms and their causes often exist in different locations. Manual treatments employ various techniques to improve bodily function — enhancing blood flow, nerve activity, and joint mobility.
The holistic perspective allows the practitioner to address problems comprehensively. Treatment duration is 45–60 minutes.
Voice Massage therapy
Voice Massage uses classical massage strokes on breathing and voice-related muscles, aiming to relieve tension in the muscles so that proper posture, flexibility, especially in the area of the rib cage and diaphragm, and overall relaxation will return.
Treatment targets the chest, neck, face, head, and respiratory muscles. Sessions last 60–75 minutes; typically 1–5 sessions are needed, though established conditions may require more.
Appropriate applications include:
- General relaxation support
- Prevention for professional voice users (singers, teachers, politicians)
- Support for voice and speech therapy
- Wind instrument player breathing assistance
- Jaw tension and pain relief
- Reflux treatment support
- Breathing efficiency improvement
- Assistance for ALS/Parkinson's patients
- Muscle tension reduction
- Athletic breathing enhancement
Voice Massage is performed only by trained Voice Massage therapists. It is not physiotherapy, speech therapy, alternative medicine, or invasive. The method was developed by Leena Koskinen in Finland since the 1980s.
